How Our Design and Permit Process Works
Free Consultation
We start by listening. We review your property, your goals and your budget, explain what your city allows and recommend the best path forward, with no cost and no commitment.
Design, Drafting and 3D Renderings
We create your floor plans, elevations and 3D renderings, so you can see your space before anything is built. Design usually takes 4 to 8 weeks for an ADU, 6 to 10 weeks for a remodel and 10 to 16 weeks for a custom home.
Permit Submission and Corrections
We submit your plans to the building department, respond to every plan-check comment and resubmit until approval. City review usually takes 3 to 9 months, depending on the city and the project.
Approved Plans, Ready to Build
You receive your approved plans and own them completely. Take them to any licensed contractor, or ask us for a recommendation from the contractors we trust.
